We have another Late minute entry from......

Melinda Johns - Horsing Around

Hi Shazza,

I finally got a layout done, I have been looking
all year but couldn't find the time,

I have used a photo of my Daughter and cousin
horsing around on a large stuffed horse, my
cousin has. I have used bright but muted colours,
3 circles, well that's the load of bling and
button on my page. An animal well mine is a
butterfly, I hope that counts, Its on-the ribbon
Flower in the bottom right corner. A horse of
course is in the photo.

The lady dancing on the horse right in the middle
of the photo reminded me of the photo I took of
my daughter nearly 2 years ago. I am happy with
what it turned out like.

Regards
Melinda

Christy Strickler - World Record

 and

Hi, you can find my blog post about the pages here: http://myscrapbookevolution.blogspot.com/2011/03/waiting-for-world-record.html Mine is actually a 2 page layout. I have a vintage poster with a bear riding a white circus horse on the left corner of page one. I drew some small circles on the scallops of both pages. I hope those count. Thank you for a fun challenge! I hope to play again soon.

Great colors you have used and love your embellishments, especially your paper flowers! Great journaling too. You can just see the tight rope walker in the pics it looks like he's walking on clouds! A great entry today from.....

Kim Hutchinson - Good Morning Sunshine

Hi Shazza,

Had a pretty hectic month but here is my entry into your March Challenge inspired by the 'The Circus Horse' by Marc Chagall (suggested by Deb Clark).

One of my aims in scrapbooking is to use photo's that I want to scrap but that also fill challenges and I am very happy when the two combine.

This photo is of Lauren (son's partner) with her horse Gypsy at sunrise.  I know this photo is a favourite of hers.

Loved the inspiration LO's put up by the DT's and as always have enjoyed your challenge and I have met all your criteria.

My blog address is: http://kironee.blogspot.com/

Thank you again.

Kim  Hutchinson

Thanks for your entry Kim! I think you have done well this month to combine photos you want to scrap and favourite challenges. What a perfect photo to use! Love how you incorporated all the criteria too. A great layout and I love the color combos you used as well. Well done - Shazza

We have a great 'Double Page' entry today from.....

Jane Howden - Farm Fresh

Hi Shazza,
Just submitting my layout for ARTastic this month.  This was one very cool painting and there were so many directions we all could go with it.  I eventually decided to use up some photographs that have been begging to be scrapped (for years) and have done a double page layout.  It’s fairly bright and cheerful, lots of animals on the pages (and that isn’t including the children or the feral husband on the bike!), there are circles and a tiny horse – so all boxes ticked.
This was fun – thanks for the inspiration.
Jane
Jane! I love your double page take this month on the painting and criteria :). I know when I finally scrap a page of photos that have been waiting for years, I always feel releived that I finally got to them! Love the flowered pp and also the way you have set out the photos looks awesome...must be one of your great sketches :) Great work and thanks for joining in - Cheers Shazza

thanks
Emily Pearce

Emily! A great entry for this challenge. I love how you spread the photos out to make it look like a carousel...(great idea!) The banner with your title looks great too. Ticket stubbs a good addition and all criteria covered. Thanks for joining us this month - Cheers Shazza
